Michael and Andrea Van Ry have been the proud owners of All Star Gymnastics & Cheer since 2005. They are parents to two wonderful children. Their daughter Alyssa has been a member of the competitive cheer team since 2007. Andrea along with her Directors and Coordinators manage a very dedicated staff. Each coach that is chosen to work with the All Star family is selected because of their love for children as well as their enthusiasm for the sport of gymnastics & cheer. Michael is very involved in the marketing and advertising as well as thinking of creative new ideas for the gym. They pride themselves in being involved in community activities and remembering to give back to the community whenever possible. They are honored to be able to provide a safe and exciting environment for the children and families of El Dorado County.

Christina has been a part of All Star family since 2006.  She is a veteran gymnast that competed through level 10 at the national level. She was a gymnast for 15 years and we are honored to have her share her love for the sport with our aspiring gymnasts. Christina coaches advanced tumbling, Competitve Cheer and Competitive Acro Gymnastics. She is part of our customer service staff, the Safety Coordinator, the Special Events Coordinator and our Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator. Christina took a break from gymnastics for a while but is back with great skill and enthusiasm. Her expertise motivates every student she coaches as well as the staff she manages.

Ashley Hansen has been a part of the All Star family since 2006. She has been involved in Acrobatic Gymnastics since 1997. During her Acro career she competed in local, state, regional, national, and international competitions as an athlete. Ashley has been coaching Acro Gymnastics since 2004, and led many athletes to the national level. Ashley is the Acro Gymnastics Director and Head Coach of our Competitive Acro Team. Ashley is part of our customer service staff and coaches preschool, tumbling, and recreational gymnastics classes. Ashley has unconditional respect for all her children.

Brittlin has been a part of the All Star family since 2006.  She was a cheerleader for twelve years. Brittlin coaches preschool classes, as well as our Competitive Mini, Youth and Special Needs Cheer Teams. She is very enthusiastic and creative which makes her wonderful with all the children. Brittlin has a zest for life that is truly contagious. The children just light up while they are on the floor with Miss Brittlin.

Kirsti has been a part of the All Star family since 2006.  She was a cheerleader for eight years and was a member or our Nationally Ranked Competitive Senior Cheer Team. Kirsti coaches preschool classes, recreational gymnastics and cheer, tumbling and all our special events. Kirsti is very warm, passionate, and friendly with all the children. As both a coach and an athlete, she has a love for gymnastics, cheerleading, kids and All Star.

Vanessa has been a part of the All Star family since 2008.  She has several years experience in the sport of Acrobatic Gymnastics.  Vanessa currently coaches pre-school, recreational gymnastics classes and all our special events.  She is very energetic, enthusiastic, motivating and knowledgeable with her students.  She enjoys coaching each and every one of her students and they enjoy being taught by a coach like Vanessa.

Lexie has been a part of the All Star family since 2008.  She has been a cheerleader since she was five years old.  She was involved in youth cheer for 4 years and has been on an All Star team since 2001.  She is currently a part of our Nationally ranked Senior Cheer Team.  Lexie coaches tumbling and our competitive Mini cheer team.  Lexie is outgoing, caring and passionate about the sport of cheer.  Her passion shines through when she is coaching and the kids respond to her positive energy.

“Miss Niki” is the instructor for our Super Star Academy for preschoolers as well as our Competitive Team Director. Niki has over 14 years experience in both coaching and teaching children. As a gymnast, Niki was a competitive gymnast for 10 years and competed through Level 10. She has since coached and managed gymnastics programs for 11 years, from the preschool level through to the competitive team. Niki earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development at Sacramento State University and worked as a substitute teacher in El Dorado County. Now married with two children, Niki still has great enthusiasm for teaching children as well as a love for gymnastics. She is excited to share her passion for both teaching and gymnastics with all her students at All Star.

 Morgan has been involved in the gymnastics world as an athlete and a coach for most of her life. She currently coaches beginning recreational gymnastics, as well as all our special events. Morgan truly has a passion for gymnastics and enjoys sharing it with all her students.   Morgan encourages the students in her class daily and keeps them motivated. She is a wonderful addition to the All Star family and always has a smile on her face.
